Won is a serial entrepreneur, speaker, and advisor to startups and funds, with a focus in the future of mobile technology and infrastructure in emerging markets. She is an ex-VC/LP with extensive experience in bridging markets. She is currently CEO at Intracountry, learning from, scaling, and executing hyperlocal solutions created by the globally displaced, migratory, and refugee population.

Won is a globally recognised speaker, at conferences such as the UN Commission for the Status of Women, Echelon Asia in Singapore, Mentor Capital Network in D.C., Impact Hub Berlin, and the Startup Addventure Wolves Summit in Poland and Hungary, among others. She has served as an advisor at summits such as the G20 in Antalya for FinTech, and has been a guest lecturer in academic institutions such as Korea University.

With experience in Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, and Machine Learning, her work has been featured in publications such as Reuters, Bloomberg Businessweek, Re/Code, Yonhap News, Follow the Coin, and Fast Company.

Previously, Won trained as an opera singer and a martial artist, and has served as a mentor for such programs in children’s education, specifically in underprivileged and refugee communities in Greece, Lebanon, and Germany.
