Co-Founder & President at Spin

Based in San Francisco, Spin is a shared electric scooter company that solves last-mile transportation in American cities and campuses. Spin was acquired by Ford in November 2018 to be its micro-mobility unit.

Born in Singapore in 1984, Euwyn moved to Canada at age 10 then enrolled at Cornell University at age 15, where he studied computer science. After earning a JD at Cornell Law at age 22, he practiced M&A law at one of New York's famed white-shoe law firms, Simpson Thacher & Bartlett.

In 2010, he was funded by Y Combinator and First Round Capital to build Opzi. In 2014, Euwyn developed an interest in blockchain technology and built Delta, a service that offered interest-bearing Bitcoin accounts, again backed by Y Combinator and Initialized Capital. While launching Exponent, a venture fund backed by the founders of the largest real estate and private equity firm in China, he came across the concept of shared bicycles controlled by IoT devices in Beijing. Inspired by this unique urban mobility solution, he launched Spin in 2017.
