제1회 Startup Seoul 이벤트. 스타트업들의 Pitching 파티

안녕하세요, 스타트업 서울의 김동신입니다. 어제(6월 20일 토) 역삼동에 위치한 Zenitum의 사무실에서는 국내의 크고작은 스타트업들의 Pitching 파티 "Startup Seoul"이 열렸습니다. 이번 행사에는 대략 15명 정도의 사람이 참석하였는데요, 스타트업 기업가 분들, 벤처캐피털과 엔젤펀드 및 선배 기업가분들, 매체사 등이 한 곳에 모였습니다. 스타트업 서울은 한 달 정도 전에 Zenitum의 David Lee가 아이디어를 제안하여, PepperCode의 황대산님과 파프리카랩이 함께 참여하여 준비를 하였습니다. 정말 쿨한 오피스 장소와 맛있는 샌드위치/햄버거는 Zenitum의 김희관 대표님께서 협찬을 해주셨구요. 사진은 Zenitum의 디자이너이신 YoungDoo님이 촬영해주셨습니다. 이날 행사에는 SundayToz의 이정웅 대표님과 HugeFlow의 박건태 대표님이 pitch를 해주셨고, 패널로는 소프트뱅크 코리아의 임정민 심사역님, 본엔젤스의 강석흔 파트너님과 ex-태터앤미디어 공동대표이시고 현재는 구글코리아의 프로덕트 매니저로 계신 김창원 대표님이 참여해주셨습니다. 이날 행사는 짧고 굵게, 오전 11시부터 시작해서 (코리안 타임을 반영하여 11시 40분 정도에 정식 출발 하였고요), 1시 정도에 행사를 마치고 미리 준비된 런치타임을 가졌습니다. 소중한 주말에도 불구하고 열정으로 뭉쳐진 열기가 작은 회의실을 뜨겁게 달구었습니다. 앞으로도 이런 행사가 국내에도 많아져서, 보다 많은 스타트업들이 가치 창조를 위한 다양한 자극과 정보, 그리고 피드백을 받을 수 있으면 좋겠습니다. 스타트업 서울도 그러한 환경과 문화 조성에 많은 기여를 할 수 있으면 좋겠네요. 이벤트가 캐쥬얼한 분위기에서 진행할 수 있도록 시원한 맥주를 대거 제공하며 물심양면으로 협조해주신 Zenitum에게 다시한번 감사드립니다. 그럼 제2회 스타트업 서울 때 뵈요!
